About Me
(Motion) Graphic Designer / Editor & Content Creator
Who Am I?
Hey there! I’m Kiara (aka Sayo / Nyara); I’m a 26-year-old self-taught (motion) graphic designer from Kaiserslautern, Germany. I’m a trans woman (she/they) so I’ve always rather delved into virtual worlds than be consumed by real-life struggles. Since I struggle with gender dysphoria and identity issues, I never really knew what I was supposed to do. I studied computer science for a long while. I then discovered that I enjoy doing motion graphics / designing way more and taught it myself. Since computer science didn’t work out, I switched to media- and communication technology. When COVID-19 hit us, everything started to fall apart. Since December 2021 I was doing an apprenticeship in a media agency. I then worked for a company as a 2d animator and graphic designer. To improve my skills I spent my spare time doing research and diving into personal projects. Now I want to take freelancing to the next level and see where this journey is heading.
Why focus on content creators?
I grew up watching YouTube content by people like Gronkh, a German Let’s Player, instead of TV Shows / movies. Back when Minecraft was in its early state, I started realising that I enjoy watching others more than actually playing the games myself. With Twitch and Live-streaming in general becoming more and more popular, I tried to stream games like Overwatch. I enjoy it when others are watching and being active in chat or I can hang out with friends. Until my VTuber model is ready and I can put out more content, I’ll be working on custom graphics and animations for streamers. Since 2020 I have been working with creators like Zach Bussey, Cailee, Marcel Howard Jr. and more. I’m trying to figure out new ways to offer more people easy-to-use premium designs which are affordable for any content creator and help them increase engagement from viewers. These include animations like social media pop-ups, reminders to follow/subscribe or interesting alerts that reward the viewer.
Do you create custom designs?
YES! If you are interested in something more unique and want to express yourself, feel free to message me about custom designs. I also help you build your brand by offering logos, creating your visual identity and help with branding guidelines for your future endeavours. This will establish the foundation of your career as a creator. Of course custom designs take more time and effort, which is why I highly recommend it to mid- to large-sized streamers who are already making a profit of streaming or creating content in general. Communication. I include my clients in every step of my creative process. Even if you aren’t able to explain your vision, I will help you with my expertise in the field and creativity. I will ask you questions about the project, your idea and not only focus on your budget. With my help you’ll be able to figure out what you truly want. Since I know what it’s like to work in a team, I create something any talented designer can work with. If for some reason I cannot provide a service, your future designers/artists will be able to pick up where I left off because of clear guidelines and clean projects.

I used to work as a (motion) graphic designer and video editor / producer in a media agency, so editing shorts for YouTube / TikTok is also something I can provide. Helping content creators build a proper online presence is something I’m passionate about. That’s why I devote my time to improving my skills and giving creators something they can truly identify with.
Cool graphics are one thing, but I will help you boost your viewers‘ engagement with my animations. Seeing an on-brand logo with custom animations, alerts and reminders to subscribe will help increase your follower count and viewership. Graphics are the first thing people will see on your channel. Having a professional appearance will help you out a lot, even if you aren’t live!
A good logo that works in different scenarios can be used for a good intro, transition and even on your merchandise! Let me know what you need help with and I will work closely with you to provide that. My goal is to give you something that lasts and grows with you as a creator. In order to do that, you have to be as passionate about your content as I am.

It is essential nowadays to have visually pleasing graphic designs and animations as a streamer. Just like a good internet connection, a decent computer, microphone, lighting, etc it can be quite an investment for new content creators that do it as a hobby.
